We’re thrilled to introduce our open-source Single Digital Gateway (SDG) plugin for Matomo , designed to streamline compliance and enhance digital service accessibility in line with the European Union’s regulatory framework. This plugin empowers businesses and government agencies to efficiently manage and report their digital interactions as part of the EU’s Single Digital Gateway initiative.

The Single Digital Gateway Explained

The Single Digital Gateway is an EU initiative aimed at simplifying access to information and administrative services across member states. It focuses on creating seamless digital experiences for cross-border activities, providing EU citizens and businesses with consistent access to necessary services and information.

As a first step sone authorities for some of their services has started to report user behaviour data to the central EU API.

Key Features of the SDG Plugin

Our SDG Plugin extends Matomo, offering unique functionalities tailored to Single Digital Gateway reporting:

  • Well maintained code repository - Unlike many other plugins, we are actively maintaining this plugin, watching the issue queues. We are a long term trusted partner for the public sector.
  • Easy configuration - Just add your API keys and specify the URLS to report and you are ready to start within minutes.
  • Automatic Reporting : Configure the plugin to automatically send reports based on your schedule, ensuring streamlined and regular updates in compliance with EU requirements.
  • Transaction Status Interface : Access a comprehensive interface displaying the statuses of all data transactions. You can easily track successes and quickly resend reports if any issues arise, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
  • Customizable Dashboards and Reports : Develop tailored dashboards that provide insights into your site’s compliance with SDG requirements, facilitating cross-border access and service optimisation.
